UKRAINE OPEN VISA SERVICE IN SOUTH AFRICA

Visa processing operation services for Ukraine have been substantially expanded across the African continent, VFS Global has announced.
“In South Africa, two new Ukraine Visa Application Centres have been opened in the cities of Pretoria and Cape Town for the convenience of applicants,” VFS Global Regional Group COO Jiten Vyas was quoted by the African News Agency as saying.
The newly launched Ukraine Visa Application Centres offer applicants a host of services such as SMS tracking of visa application, dedicated website for information, email assistance along with photocopying and photobooth services at most locations.

ETHIOPIA e-VISA COMMENCE

The Ethiopian Immigration and Nationality Affairs in collaboration with Ethiopian Airlines, on June 12, announced the commencement of e-visa service for international visitors to Ethiopia,.
Tadesse said the e-visa system had been blocked by the government for some strategic reason overtime, making it difficult for many tourists to explore the nation’s tourism.
He said the e-visa could not be used because of nonconformity with debit card, stressing that the platform is now open to all African countries to apply for Ethiopian visa online and get it on arrival at its airports.
According to him, though the Ethiopian e-visa is now working with credit card, they are still working to have another solution for payment soon.
“Now, our e-Visa which was blocked because of immigration issues have resumed, thanks to our Prime Minister and other African leaders.
“This visa can be applied online and get your visa on the spot at our airports and it is for all African countries and this is a big boost for all our travel agencies.

RWANDA REVEALS NEW ADVENTURE TOURISM

Thrill-seeking travellers will soon be able to enjoy high-flying paramotoring, exciting mountain biking and some serious cycling routes in Rwanda as part of new adventure experiences unveiled by Visit Rwanda.
Paramotoring is a form of paragliding where the user wears a motor on their back which provides enough thrust to fly through the air using an adapted paraglider or a paramotor wing.
In partnership with the Rwanda Flying Club and Rwanda Civil Aviation Authority, the expanded paramotoring adventure offering is aimed at those seeking to explore the natural beauty of Rwanda’s stunning landscapes in a new exhilarating way.
This brand-new adventure tourism experience will be expanded over the next few months and visitors will be able to enjoy paramotoring in the historic, cultural town of Huye, the picturesque lakeside towns of Rubavu and Karongi and at one of the best-preserved mountain rainforests in Africa, Nyungwe National Park.

In Kigali which use to be one of the poorest country in Africa, there airport is free of this extortions. The Airport authorities should caution this demoralizing menace.

EGYPT INTRODUCES e-VISA SERVICE

The Egyptian government have introduced a new e-visa service, whereby citizens from stated countries, including the UK, can now easily obtain an entry visa online.
The new service offers an alternative to applications upon arrival, or through the Egyptian consulate prior to travel.
Simplifying travel to the country and speeding up the process at border control, residents from 46 countries across Europe, Asia and Australasia can now apply for a visa through a simple online application form.
A single-entry tourist visa is priced at $25, while a multiple entry tourist visa is priced at $60, with payment required on a credit or debit card.
Tourist visas granted using the e-visa system are valid for a maximum of three months.Amr El Ezabi, director UK & Ireland for the Egyptian Tourist Authority, said: “We want travel to Egypt to be as seamless as possible and in the digital age this new e-visa system is an important step towards simplifying the process.
“Latest tourism figures have shown a significant rise in arrivals and we hope that this trend continues as more people are encouraged to visit our diverse nation.”
Travellers are advised to make an e-visa application at least seven days before departure.
Entry requirements on arrival include a passport valid for at least eight months, a printout of your e-visa and your travel itinerary, with accommodation details.
